Pete Boydell creates brands, campaigns and copy for big names and smaller founders alike, usually as a freelancer to a creative agency. He also runs writing retreats, writes screenplays and has a tidy tennis game. In a former life he was a National Sales Manager in the lift industry, selling large construction projects. But in 2015 he chose to step away from elevators and into brand strategy and copywriting.
Collette Davis looks for the story, substance and soul of your brand. A yogi, she runs an online Embodied Flow school, plays the harmonium and looks after other people’s pets as often as possible. She has been a freelance brand strategist and copywriter for close to twenty years. Prior to that she worked in agency in Leeds and Edinburgh.
Together, Pete and Collette travelled Asia and Australia between 2015 and 2020 as digital nomads. They picked up brand work internationally and also maintained some UK clients. Now they live in a pretty little cottage in Thorner, near Leeds, where Scrabble can get pretty competitive (Pete’s winning).
